getback exercise therapy safety re-activates and strengthens the deep spinal muscles associated with back pain. An individual, measurable target is developed for each patient to restore these stabilising muscles to normative levels of strength and mobility. Graduated movement and precisely controlled loading is facilitated by exercise devices which target these specific muscles.

The structured rehabilitation process at GetBack Physiotherapy follows a seven-step approach designed to help patients regain mobility, manage pain, and build strength effectively. The journey begins with an Initial Consultation, where a physiotherapist takes the time to understand the patient’s condition, needs, and goals. Based on this, a Treatment Plan is developed, incorporating hands-on therapy, movement-based therapy, or a combination of both.
Once the pain has stabilised, a Strength & Mobility Assessment is conducted to determine the most suitable recovery pathway. Patients then move on to Goal Setting, where personalised and measurable treatment goals are established based on factors such as age, height, weight, and gender.
The next step, Exercise Therapy, focuses on improving strength and stability, particularly in the deep muscles that support the spine. Following treatment, patients undergo Re-assessment & Discharge to ensure they have achieved their goals and are provided with a plan to maintain their progress. Lastly, a Review is scheduled six months post-discharge to assess long-term improvements and make any necessary adjustments.
This structured approach ensures an individualised, goal-driven recovery process, helping patients regain function and improve their overall quality of life.
