Dr. Muhammad Hashim is an Australian-based health professional. He has completed specialist training (FRACP) in General and Acute Care Medicine at Eastern Health Victoria, Post-graduate diploma in Rheumatology, UK and is currently the clinical lead for one of the medical wards at Eastern Health.
He also consults privately at the Berwick Spine & Orthopaedic Centre and Nunawading Mitcham Rd Consulting suites and provides inpatient care at a number of hospitals including Berwick St John of God, Knox and Mitcham private hospitals.
He has special clinical interest in musculoskeletal and inflammatory Rheumatological disorders, managing complex medical cases and has extensive experience in perioperative medicine, having provided this service at Eastern Health for many years. He utilises a multidisciplinary approach, collaborating with other healthcare professionals such as orthopaedic surgeons and physiotherapists to ensure comprehensive and holistic care for his patients.
Dr Hashim is fluent in other languages – Urdu, Hindi, Pashto and Persian. He takes time to listen to his patients’ concerns, thoroughly explains management plans and ensures that they feel comfortable and supported throughout their healthcare journey.
